What People Are Saying:

The Black and Decker SmartBrew Plus DCM2000 was rated the best of the eight tested inexpensive coffeemakers by Cook's Illustrated magazine in 2010. Reviewers say it is an intuitive coffeemaker that is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to pour. In addition, the two-year warranty on the coffeemaker beats many of its more expensive competition. On Amazon, the coffeemaker averages about three stars (out of five) on more than 200 reviews. Many users call it a great deal for the price and are particularly happy with the no-spill pour feature on the glass carafe. But several users noted malfunctions, problems with pouring and electrical issues. In general, the reviews were split between "don't buy it" and "one of the best coffeemakers I've ever had."
